What started as a boys trip to NZ turned into a Boys and Isla trip which turned out to be our best holiday ever. Swimming every day was the rule, even if it meant in 0 degree water.
We had a bit of a scary car incident due to heavy rain and hasty braking but as I pointed out to Isla if Allah had called her then even the best driver in the world would not have been able to save her, let alone me, who is not quite the best driver. Anyway it's hard to see the road with the incense sticks and garlands on the dashboard shrine to Ganesh.
